Your career doesn't need a reboot. It needs a dossier.

We compile the intelligence—market positioning, skill gaps, negotiation leverage, and trajectory mapping—so your next move is calculated, not hopeful.

— M. Okafor, Cork

"I came in thinking I needed to change industries. Turns out I needed to change my narrative. They showed me how."

Engagement Model Dossier-first. We research before we advise. Every recommendation is backed by documented analysis.

Career advice shouldn't feel like guesswork

Most career guidance operates on intuition and generic templates. A polished CV, a few interview tips, a motivational conversation. That approach fails professionals who face genuinely complex decisions—whether to accept a lateral move, how to position a career gap, when to negotiate and when to walk away.

Career Advancement Keys operates differently. We treat every client engagement as an intelligence project. Before we offer a single recommendation, we build a dossier: a structured analysis of your professional history, market positioning, competitive landscape, and the specific leverage points available to you right now.

"The difference between career advice and career intelligence is the difference between opinion and evidence. We deal in evidence."

This editorial approach means our guidance is specific, defensible, and actionable. You won't receive platitudes about "following your passion." You'll receive a documented strategy with clear decision points, risk assessments, and measurable next steps.

Our clients are typically professionals with five to twenty years of experience who have reached an inflection point. They're not lost—they're at a fork. And forks require maps, not motivational posters.

Every dossier is built from primary research, not recycled templates.

The Career Intelligence Framework

Six dimensions we analyse before making any recommendation. This isn't a menu of services—it's the architecture of every engagement.

Dimension What We Investigate Deliverable Typical Impact
Market Position Where you sit relative to peers in your sector, seniority band, and geography Positioning Brief Clarifies whether you're undervalued, misaligned, or optimally placed
Narrative Architecture How your career story reads to hiring managers, boards, and recruiters Narrative Rebuild Document Transforms scattered experience into a coherent professional identity
Compensation Intelligence Salary bands, equity norms, benefit benchmarks for your target roles Compensation Analysis Clients report average negotiated increases of 15–22% when armed with data
Decision Mapping Structured analysis of your current options, risks, and opportunity costs Decision Matrix Reduces paralysis and reveals the highest-value path forward
Skill Gap Audit Gaps between your current capabilities and the requirements of target roles Development Roadmap Focuses learning investment on the skills that actually move the needle
Interview Strategy Behavioural patterns, likely questions, and optimal response frameworks for target employers Interview Playbook Converts preparation anxiety into structured confidence
Strategic planning workspace with technology and career development tools

Not a coaching session. A strategic engagement.

We don't sell hours. We sell outcomes. Every engagement begins with research and ends with a documented strategy you can execute independently. No ongoing dependency. No subscription model. Just intelligence, delivered.

How an Engagement Unfolds

01

Intake Interview

A 45-minute structured conversation covering your history, aspirations, constraints, and the specific decision or transition you're facing. We listen for what you're not saying as much as what you are.

02

Research Phase

We spend 5–8 working days building your dossier. This includes market research, compensation benchmarking, narrative analysis, and—where relevant—discreet outreach to industry contacts for insight.

03

Dossier Delivery

You receive a comprehensive document—typically 10 to 20 pages—containing findings, analysis, and specific recommendations. This is not a slide deck. It's a working reference you'll use for months.

04

Strategy Session

A 90-minute walkthrough of the dossier, where we answer questions, pressure-test assumptions, and refine the action plan together. You leave with absolute clarity on your next three moves.

"I've worked with executive coaches, outplacement firms, and career counsellors. This was the first time someone actually did the homework before advising me."

— D. Hennessy, Waterford

Is This Right for You?

Career intelligence works best when you're facing a specific inflection point. Here are the situations where our approach delivers the most value.

You've been offered a role and need to decide

The offer looks good on paper, but you're not sure if it's the right strategic move. We analyse the role, the company trajectory, and your alternatives to give you a clear recommendation.

Decision Support

You're underpaid and suspect it

Suspicion isn't leverage. Data is. We build a compensation case you can present with confidence, backed by market evidence specific to your role, location, and sector.

Compensation

You're re-entering after a gap

Career gaps create narrative problems that generic CV advice can't solve. We rebuild your professional story so the gap becomes a chapter, not a liability.

Narrative

You're targeting a specific company

We research the company's hiring patterns, cultural signals, and interview methodology, then build a tailored approach strategy. This isn't spray-and-pray.

Targeting

You're considering a sector change

Sector transitions fail when they're driven by frustration rather than strategy. We map your transferable value and identify the sectors where your experience commands a premium.

Transition

You're preparing for a board or executive interview

Executive interviews operate on different rules. We prepare you for the strategic, governance, and leadership questions that separate candidates at this level.
